Unlike Western KS that got 36" of snow, we had 3 inches of rain and maybe a few inches of snow. However, like faithful children are kids anxiously watched it snow
, dressed warmly (even if I did have to call Alan in twice for being out there only partially dressed), and had at it. They had snowball fights, made snow angels, tried to skate on a frozed lake of mud in a pasture, and made a snow family. 
Sadly, Hans was inside during the snow person making because he had an upset stomach. So I took pictures or him to see. Mud and snow: nature's toys from God's blessing of moisture! Thank you Father!!!

That's KS, snow and cold one day and then 50's the next to melt it all!
