A TV watching pup...

This is a kick! Li'l Lacy (now 10 weeks old) is more curious about the tv than any dog I've ever had. She will actually sit and watch it for almost a minute at a time before she has to wiggle and chew something. Funny girl. Now the tv is not on that often, so maybe that is part of it. I thought it was funny. The kids were watching "theWild" and she really liked this. The animals must have used animated voices. It's not that great, in my opinion.

Lacy has been a good girl, we actually caught her and Abby taking a nap together yesterday. She snuck up on Abby who was already asleep and laid down at her tail. Very cute. I probably have that picture on here too, let me see...

It's my party and I'll cry if I want to...

Poor Erin was sick for her birthday. She was not a 100% for the party she had with her friends on Friday, but not that bad. By Saturday afternoon she was pretty punky but would not admit it. Grandma and Grandpa Anderson and Aunt Paula and Uncle Bill came over Saturday night and she was a bit green around the gills. As loving family we showered her with gifts, love and cheer and then sang Happy Birthday to her and ate her cake. She did not eat 1 bite of dinner or cake. Poor dear. She opened her gifts and was thankful, but as we visited, ate cake and drank coffee, she retreated to the bedroom to watch Kim Possible. As her family kissed her goodnight she started crying. Tired, frustrated and sick. She popped a fever later that night 3/17 and still has not had a full piece of her cake. I have forbidden anyone else to eat any. She did of course have cupcakes at school and with her friends, but this is the redvelvet cake she chose for her family. Today she was a bit better, but still pretty tender in the tummy. Tomorrow maybe better yet!

Puppy Logic

Puppy Logic has been an overwhelming theme in our house these days. While we are working on training our puppy there are seveeral things you just have to keep in mind. At least as far as Lacy is concerned:

1. If it is on the floor, it's mine

2. If I can reach it and drag it onto the floor, it's mine.

3. If it moves, it's mine.

4. If it lays still waiting for me to pounce on it, it's mine.

5. If it smells, it's mine.

6. If you are busy with it, it's mine.

7. If I can drag it, it's mine.

8. If it runs...it's totally mine!

9. If it giggles and screams, it's mine.

10. If it's food, it's mine.

11. If it growls at me, it's mistaken and I should try again.

12. If it hisses and spits, hot dog it's mine!

Mine, mine, mine, mine, mine!!!

My great nephew has arrived! Colton John arrived early Friday morning 10:31 a.m. He's a keeper!

I did snap a few shots at the Basketball Clinic both Hans and Collin are participating in. It's called Little Dribblers and it does not occur to them to think this name is silly!

what's going on...

OK, how can it be March already. My mother came out for a visit 2/19/07 and wham, it's 3/7/07. How does that happen??? Let's see, that week we had gymnastics, family P.E. night, AWANA, lunch with Bill, piano, lunch with Dick and Carol, basketball and cheerleading clinic all Saturday morning while Chris fixed a broken pickup all day. Then Sunday, choir, Monday go to Great Bend for VBS supplies, gymnastics, AWANA, piano, lunch with Paula, coffee with Brandi, basketball Friday and Saturday, Choir Sunday, family dinner Sunday, mom to airport Monday, Bible study Monday and here we are. My mom's sight seeing in KS was from the airport to here, trying to find a restaraunt in Hutch without a 60 minute wait, WalMart, Lyons and back to the airport. She does not mind, she wants to know how our lives are: CRAZY

Too Pooped to Blog

Not sure what is wrong with me, but too many things are competing for my bloggin time. I hope to sit down tomorrow, upload some pictures, do some blogging and have some photos uploaded for printing. I want to go scrapbooking at Leannes this weekend...
Took my mom back to the airport this morning, she is such a great cheerleader for me and what a helper. I will miss her frequent encouragement. I bet her house seems quiet tonight after 2 weeks at our place. The first time she came out after my dad died, I was trying to keep the kids quiet and she said, "Don't, I get enough quiet at home!" I bet she is ready for quiet. I'm ready for quiet and sleep.......
